On July 26, 2022, I had the honor of participating in a dynamic panel discussion at MetaMind 3.0, a virtual event dedicated to exploring the rapidly evolving potential of Web3 and the immersive web. This event brought together pioneers and innovators from across the digital landscape to share insights and discuss the transformative impact of these technologies on brands and businesses.

Sharing the Stage with Visionaries

I was privileged to share the stage with an inspiring group of experts:

  • Douglas Eriksen, the founder of ChainMosaic and blockchain strategist, who also serves as the project manager for Ultra.io’s NFT marketplace.

  • Irina Karagyaur, a leader in ecosystem growth and business development with a forward-thinking approach to blockchain adoption.

  • Anas Bhurtun, the CEO and co-founder of Arts Dao, a key figure in bridging art and blockchain technologies.

The panel was skillfully moderated by Tuesday Le Roux, who guided our discussion with thought-provoking questions and keen insights.

Unpacking Web3 and the Immersive Web

The conversation delved into several critical themes, from the opportunities for brands to establish themselves in decentralized environments to the challenges of building meaningful connections in virtual spaces. We explored how blockchain technologies like NFTs can offer new revenue streams and ownership models for creators, brands, and consumers alike.

From my perspective, the metaverse is not just a technological innovation but a cultural shift—one that requires businesses to rethink how they engage with their audiences. At Journee, I’ve seen firsthand how immersive digital experiences can deepen brand storytelling and foster community, and I shared these experiences to highlight what’s possible when Web3 tools are harnessed creatively.

Takeaways from MetaMind 3.0

What stood out most during the panel was the sense of shared optimism and curiosity about the future. Whether it was Douglas Eriksen’s expertise in blockchain strategy or Anas Bhurtun’s insights into digital art marketplaces, each panelist contributed a unique perspective that enriched the discussion.

For those curious about what lies ahead, MetaMind 3.0 reaffirmed that the future of Web3 and the immersive web is being shaped by visionaries who embrace experimentation and innovation. I left the panel inspired and energized by the possibilities and am eager to continue driving conversations and action in this transformative space.

MetaMind 3.0 was a celebration of collaboration and forward-thinking, and I’m grateful to have been part of such an engaging and impactful event.
