Unlocking the Potential of the Immersive Web: Keynote with H&M Beyond’s Oliver Lange at X-verse, Gitex Week 2022

During Gitex Week 2022 in Dubai, I had the incredible opportunity to deliver a keynote alongside Oliver Lange, Head of H&M Beyond, at X-verse, a leading event dedicated to the Immersive Web. Our session focused on how brands and creators can begin running immersive web experiences using the technologies already accessible to users today.

The discussion revolved around the immersive web’s potential to revolutionize how we interact with digital environments, brands, and experiences. With the rapid development of immersive technologies such as augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and NFTs, there is now a unique opportunity for companies to tap into the immersive web and create more interactive and engaging customer experiences.

Oliver and I delved into how fashion brands like H&M are already experimenting with the immersive web, offering users a chance to engage with their products in entirely new ways. We discussed how brands can build immersive commerce solutions, allowing customers to shop, interact, and experience products virtually, regardless of physical location.
